Dr. Elizabeth Patrick (a.k.a. Dr. Lizzie), a Syracuse native, graduated from Geneseo in 2013 with a B.S. in Biology. At University, she spent time in Australia and Belize conducting research in biodiversity and environmental biology. After graduation, Dr. Lizzie lived in Nicaragua working in Public Health. She then attended University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and received her D.D.S. in 2019. Dr. Lizzie completed a hospital-based residency at Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. In Rhode Island, she heavily focused on Oral Surgery, treating medically complex patients, and working with children and patients with special health care needs. After working a few years as a General Dentist in private practice and public health settings, Dr. Lizzie completed two additional years of training to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry through the University at Buffalo.
In addition to being active in the local community, Dr. Lizzie enjoys participating in global outreach. She has been fortunate to travel to Trinidad, Dominican Republic, and Appalachia on medical service trips to provide dental care to those who otherwise would have no access. She aims to continue to spread smiles at home and around the globe for years to come. In addition, Dr. Lizzie has always been passionate about working with individuals with Special Health Care Needs. For many years she has been active with Special Olympics and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. Lizzie lives with her husband, Eric, and their beautiful Australian Shephard, Poppy. In her free time, she loves being active outside, hiking, and swimming. You might spot her on the weekends on her standup paddle board with her beloved dog!
